Art Box’s Studio Saturdays program is designed to guide students in creating a formal artist portfolio with a complex body of work. Whether they are required to complete a portfolio for a school application, or they are simply interested in sharpening their artistic technique, this course is perfect for all levels.

In this course, students will complete various artworks that demonstrate an understanding of diverse media, techniques, and artistic concepts. The majority of these works will be observational compositions, accurately portraying subject matter in three-dimensions. Students will also learn how to communicate using discipline-specific vocabulary during critiques, a fundamental component of an arts education.
